Amazing experience
What an amazing experience with this moving business and the team they sent was great. I moved from a 3 story townhouse and they were magnificent, polite and very nice. They were careful with my things... almost as if they were theirs. Packing was careful and professional Great, Courteous and efficient. What else can you ask for? Thank you Vincent, Sam and David for making a stressful project a breeze.
Miracle
I will state that I’ve never had a better experience. My team was very considerate with all inquiries and updated us through the progress. All was wrapped very nicely and they took care of my things as if they were their own. I will recommend this business to my family and friends in an instant! Thanks for making my relocation easy and peaceful.
Would Recomend IF
Recommended IF... BE prepared and flexible for them to load you on the day and time THEY fancy. I would not choose this company UNLESS you actually enlist some people and have someone to be there when they load to assist the movers to break down furniture, etc. If they can't fit through doors so you don't get entertained while you focus on other things. I would not use this company UNLESS you are willing to be flexible with their delivery date. You will need help unpacking all the boxes, check the inventory list (is not a 1 person task), so you can note what you are missing, picture what is broken and things that are not yours. You HAVE TO be ready to call the company within 48 hr to discuss the inconsistencies and losses even if you have to work. EXPECT OVERCHARGES AND DEBATES, But also good customer service.
Great experience
Great experience Mike, Trey, and Kenny are wonderful. Mike stated arrival time precisely and all were polite and friendly. Treated my things very carefully and didn’t hurry. I would highly suggest them."
Good Moving Company
I had a positive time with Direct Relocation Company. Mike, Justin & Christian were handy and effective in arranging the whole stuff and moved out quickly.
Decent Experience
"Pick up team - 1 out of 2 was disastrous Drop off team- Very pleasant and nice Jordan in sales - Excellent Mary over Dispatch - Exceptional Andrew the Manager- Great Had a thing with broken items. The protection claim was lengthy and slow, it's a ridiculous method that requires to be redone but I guess the DOT runs the process. Didn't appreciate the result. Got in touch with Andrew the manager and he immediately made up for the losses and was very enjoyable to talk to. I would have rated up if there weren't any losses in the first place."
JOKE!
This business is just a joke. They also overcharge and bill you for things that are not in your inventory. I provided The covers for two mattress sets, but was priced $40 for these as if they used their own. The team they hired to get my things up was careless with my stuff, many articles were damaged when they arrived. The man in charge of the pickup kept shoving papers at me, with no reasonable time to read any of it. He was annoyed on tired I was, decided to take advantage of this to get my name on it. I am an elder woman who had to prepare up 54 years of belongings and memories, by myself and by this time I was near collapse. which doesn't excuse my not reviewing docs, but he didn't give me time. About two weeks later, my things arrived, I get why it took so long. The driver that transported my items was the best part of the entire experience, very pleasant and polite, not alike the other sailors. Beforehand had reached the Florida agency and informed them about the charges for the blankets and I had the UHaul receipt for it, she said to show the driver it. When I explained it to him he gave me the $40 back. There is soooo much to this experience I could compose about but there wouldn't be enough space. Just don't hire this ripoff business.
Do not use them
I went from GA to FL. These "Professionals" ruined lamps, a column, plates, and broken the top of a wooden armoire, not to consider they left my iron base in pieces because they missed the bolts and bent the railings. I am getting $240 for my $3K dresser. My brother and I had to make various trips to the hardware store to get the parts for the bed. He had to precisely twist the iron rails back to the canopy to put the cover back. All I received from Direct Relocation Services is that these people could not find anyone to fix the bed. As for the armoire, I was advised to file a claim for $.60 a pound. Keep this in thought before hiring them.
