Good service
At the beginning of December, I used Cross Country to move my 3 and a half bedroom house to Florida. I was quoted by 4900. I was a little concerned about the delivery Peter told me that this time of year could take a little longer, he said that 10-17 days were exactly 2 weeks away from pickup. I don't have any concerns, I'd suggest it again.
Effortless move
My husband was unable to fly home because of Covid, and that left me with three kids to deal with the relocation. Cross Country brought a full team first thing in the morning, packed it all up and finished it all at sunset. What should have been a headache ended up being painless. They've even been able to help me ship my car. Good team!.
Bad company
Do your own favor and run away from this moving business. Complete Scam, quoted at $4.00 cuf, adjusted the rate the day before the pickup, charging me $6.30 cuf. Peter, Sean, there are connections in the workplace, Peter is a smooth talking salesman, he's trying to sell his mother to the devil. Sean was utterly verbally aggressive, an arrogant prick. I'm sorry for everyone who has to deal around these A-holes.
My experience with this company
I wish I could have offered 0 stars. We were estimated one price by Peter, and when the movers arrived, we were told that the quote did not even begin to cover the cost of our transfer. Since our former house was closed, we had no choice but to pay more than twice the initial quotation. Many of the boxes came utterly shattered. The wheel on the compressor is broken. The 6' ladder and the 2 wheel dolly didn't make it to our new home. Not sure what else is missing. Don't take advantage of this COMPANY if you value your money and your house!
