Thank you to Bols and the entire team for an outstanding moving experience! Moving can be incredibly stressful, but Bold ensured a seamless process from start to finish. Having been taken advantage of by movers in the past, I was initially hesitant about choosing a moving company. However, from my first conversation with Tom, I knew I was in good hands. Tom took a detailed inventory of my belongings and recommended a full truck, which turned out to be a fantastic decision. On moving day, everything went smoothly as we loaded up the truck, and I even managed to include some additional items at no extra cost, thanks to Tom's advice. The delivery was made just three days after pickup as requested. The team efficiently unloaded my belongings, reassembled basic furniture, and placed everything exactly where I needed it. I'm pleased to say that nothing was severely damaged or broken, and the staff was friendly throughout the process. Plus, the price I was quoted remained unchanged. I highly recommend Bold Moving and Storage for their exceptional service and reliability. Invest a little more and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with top-quality movers.

BOLD Moving & Storage

This is a follow up on a review From Fall 2022 when Bold Moving & Storage trashed/lost my property in a move from NY to Massachusetts. Since then I filed in Small Claims Court and BOLD was ordered to pay $4000 in restitution for ruining and/or losing many of my belongings during the move from New York to Massachusetts. This company appealed the ruling, but again lost their case, and were ordered once again to pay $4000 by the Massachusetts Court. On February 23, 2023 a Capias Warrant and an Execution On Money Judgment was issued against BOLD Moving & Storage for non payment. Massachusetts law enforcement do not have jurisdiction across State lines so for the warrant to be issued, the Execution and the Capias needs to be domesticated in Virginia where BOLD Moving & Storage is headquartered. This is a very costly process. BOLD Moving & Storage needs to take responsibility for their poor business practices and be held accountable for the losses they caused to other people's property.

Very affordable!

They quote you a specific rate per hour and that's exactly what you pay. They were worth every penny. They were on time, and got right to work. They were so fast and efficient. They wrapped all of our furniture and were very careful with our stuff. They were very friendly and professional. Worth every cent! I would definitely use them again for any moving needs!

We were very pleased

We were very pleased with the care Eddie and his professional helpers took with my mother-in-law's antiques that were finding a new home with us. They worked efficiently and were responsive to any of our requests. I would definitely recommend Bold Moving and Storage for a move of any size. crew were great, prompt, efficient, professional. No surprise charges and none of my stuff got damaged. I would definitely use Bold Moving and Storage again.

Lost and broken stuff, late delivery and poor customer service

I have had many cross country moves and this is by far the worst moving company i have worked with. I have wasted so much money and energy with this company. The subject line says it all. Check them out on BBB for other reviews. You have been warned.

Great Moving Service

Best movers ever! With my mom's move quick decisions were made and Bold went with it. They even brought 2 leftover things to another state without charging us. Bill was always available and communicated and updated me frequently, I would use them again and again!

Moving out of state

I was moving out of state and had a short window to do so.. finding a reliable, dependable, honest mover was going to be a challenge. I have been my own personal U-Haul 26ft mover before but felt it was too much for this older person now. I contacted a few moving companies and was so impressed with Bold Moving that I hired them. The quote was quite reasonable compared to other options, U Hauls, multiple Pods etc. I spoke with Josh who did a walkthrough via the phone app with me so he could see exactly what I have. I gave him my dates, what I would pack and what I wished Bold Moving to pack. Moving day...two gentlemen showed up first, Leo and Demetri...I thought they were my team so that is who I dealt with the most. They stated the team boss and more movers would be showing up. I had a total group of 6 people arrive. They all knew what they were doing, and when needed a team lift worked amazingly together. I have never seen such a hard working team. Efficient, professional and with much care with your belongings. The day was long and hot with typical Florida heat and humidity. The team used every nook and cranny and everything fit. I was impressed. On delivery day my original team of Leo and Demetrius were at my new home promptly at 11am as stated they would be. The 2 of them unloaded the entire truck which consisted of a 2100 square ft home, a riding mower, 2 kayaks and a newer heavier washer and dryer. I also had stairs in the new home. I still can visualize the brut strength with which these gentleman worked. I will state that Leo and Demetri deserve to be their own team and Leo should be made a foreman. I would use Bold Moving again and only them. Thank you Bold Moving for being the outstanding group of people that you are. You are 5* plus company. Please forgive me as I cannot remember the actual foreman's name on my move but he was excellent and made sure everything ran smooth and any question he had he confirmed with me first. Bold is the Best!!!

Avoid at all costs

Brief review from a recent cross country move (New Jersey to Miami). Like most ppl my wife and I have an insane work schedule and don’t have time to deal with all the logistics involved in moving out of state. After evaluating several options we ended up choosing BMS after a conversation with one of their representatives. Very reassuring and knowledgeable. I subsequently scheduled a video walk thru of our property and came up with an estimate for the move - not cheap by any means - but we justified thinking they were better than competition. Fast forward to move week. First of all anyone living in a metropolitan knows it takes some planning to reserve a building elevator. This took some pestering to get a COI and schedule from BMS. Annoying but not a big deal, for pickup. They eventually showed up a few hour late and subsequently stayed 3 hours late packing - this wasn’t due to extra goods rather just showing up late. Not great spending this extra time helping movers finish up but overall not a huge deal. Our building shuts off service elevator at 5pm, we didn’t get done till 8pm. My wife brought a bottle of wine to the building service manager to make it happen. Fast forward to delivery. Our goods were in transit and scheduled to take at least a week to arrive. Fine by us. Problems however started when trying to lock down logistics on delivery. After some back and forth settled in a four hour window for delivery. This date came and went as BMS missed their window for delivery. I contacted BMS and found a new window for delivery the next day and stressed that there is a strict window for delivery - 1pm and 5pm. I didn’t hear anything by 2pm and started contacting points of contact whom repeatedly assured “we have your back, everything is fine”. Nothing happened. And they have still yet to check in on how things turned out. I finally got in contact with someone and discovered they wouldn’t be arriving until 4pm, for a window that ends at 5pm. Huge pain but not many options at this point given we’ve had so many problems getting an actual delivery window. They finally showed up at 4pm and it was a total disaster! Movers were only concerned with getting everything off the truck with NO regard for the actual property. Then, after they realized they weren’t going to finish by the 5pm window they relied on my wife and I to help unload. Please remember we paid premium $ for full pack and unload. My wife had to carry so many boxes herself and I am sure she will remember it for the next 10 years. This is when the wheels really came off. So many of our goods were completely destroyed on arrival. They didn’t want to assemble the furniture, we literally overheard one guy tell another to just “cut (the blanket) and go”. “You paid us to move, not to move on time”. I’d rather burn everything I have and buy them new than using BMS move again. Complete waste of money and effort. Feel free to contact me for the full frtails
