They recently moved us from Kansas on 7-8-16 and refused to react to our requests for 10 weeks to rebuild the goods they clearly damage during the relocation until attacked. We contacted them for 10 weeks, and the morning I wrote to say I would be contacting their referral source, they phoned us and said they couldn't reach us.
terrible organization
They offered me various discounts and promised to pick up our stuff on a Wednesday morning (in Ohio) and bring them the next day to Brooklyn, New York. First, they arrived two days early (or so they say), and we were gone. They called the next day, which was still a day early, and stated they'd be there in 3 hours (they were there in 6 hours). They told us that we had over our quote limit, in spite of the fact that we're not going to relocate anything that we had planned in the beginning...so how do you go over taking less?? They then removed everything! It took them several hours! They demand a tip after they load everything.
Unethical
They were incredibly polite and helpful when I originally hired them. But I haven't heard from them since they were paid and picked up my things. I'm contacting enforcement, and I'm going to hunt down the firm associated with the phone numbers they used to contact me. Please do not do business with this firm! I imagined it was a legitimate firm because I discovered it on this website.
Wasteful
Their workers will accept your money for a deposit, then tell you "you never made a deposit," even if you have Proof Of Verification. They're RUDE and inefficient, and I've already wasted hundreds of dollars because a manager "won't allow me to talk to accounting" to guarantee the check went to them. Also, there is a minimum move cost that they would not give to you.
Bad servicie
I signed an agreement with this moving business and paid a deposit. They contacted me on the day of the relocation to tell me they couldn't do it. After then, I couldn't get in touch with anyone at the firm. I still can't do it. They have my payment but have not responded in any manner. This firm should not be used. They are neither trustworthy nor ethical. I was really disappointed. Very, very bad.
Standard
From start to finish we contacted Alpin Van Lines, our long distance moving business is responsible, professional, and everything we desired in a moving business. We investigated extensively every business that phoned us and discovered Alpin Van Line to be the most highly rated and consistent firm accessible.
good service.
We were certain that would have done and complete our move up to our expectations. Arpin Van Lines was the most common name we found. They actually have over customer testimonials raving about how professional they are and how consistent their men are. They are also designed for the transportation of both of our cars, as well as a stop at either end to pick up and drop off things at our storage facility.
trouble
It was a major problem for me since I had to relocate my belongings from the west to the east coast. They provided me a very affordable quotation, including complete packing, for a tiny two-bedroom apartment with an estimated weight of 2000 lbs, only to find out afterward that it was all a ruse!! As a result, I was forced to accept the new terms. But it was only the beginning. They altered their statements at every level. They were expected to pack completely and bring all of the boxes.
Thank u boys
Everyone I spoke with at this firm was really nice and polite, both over the phone and in person. They went above and beyond to assist me with a last-minute relocation, worked around my time, and made me feel important to them. It was a good experience.
relocation
currently in the process of organizing my house. I simply wanted to express how delighted and content I was with the relocation. The office was checking in on me and really concerned about how things were going for me and my family. The movers were really kind and professional, I had the impression that my stuff was in good care. I would suggest this firm to any civilian individuals. I've moved several times and have never seen such professionalism. I'm hoping that when the time comes for me to relocate again in the near years, I'll be able to obtain this company again.
