Huge mistake
This firm is awful. Items were misplaced and broken, and no one is doing anything about it. I'm missing really important sentimental items, yet I can't even get somebody to contact me with answers. I was provided information for filing moving claims, which is supposed to be enough. I paid over hundreds of cash and signed a contract, but no one can tell me if I'll ever see my possessions again. Using this company was a disastrous decision. Never, ever again.
from NY to NY
I've been accused several times in several places.
American Home Relocation's has been sued several times in numerous states, including a substantial settlement in which they agreed to refund former workers who they had defrauded out of their salary. Before you utilize this firm, do your research. All you have to do is go to state court case search engines in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, and California to discover how many times this corporation has been named as a defendant in a lawsuit. They are either extremely unlucky or awful news, which is what they are. REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THEM!! It's as shady as it gets. Customers have sued them for so many activities that they should be permanently closed down. Check out the URL provided below. They don't even pay their staff fairly, so they had to settle for a large sum of money. This is where your money will go if you use them for a move.
Dreadful service
I was given pricing to ship my automobile from Michigan to Wyoming, which I accepted and paid a deposit on. The vehicle was supposed to be picked up, but it never arrived. When I contacted the firm, they informed me that I would have to pay a higher cost in the hope that one of their contractors would complete their commitment. Staff was adamantly opposed to working with me, and the customer representative who negotiated the contract with me has yet to return my call. This organization cannot be relied on to fulfill any deal they get into with a consumer.
After all were not too bad
American Home Relocation Helped me relocate from New York to Oregon. The service was adequate; there was no white-glove treatment or anything (we were moving on a budget), but the movers they provided us worked hard and were kind. On move day, there was a tiny surcharge for my driveway being too long for them to transport furniture that far for the same price, which is acceptable. The only reason I'm giving four stars is that our belongings were picked up a day earlier than I had hoped, but it all worked out and we saved a lot of money by going this method. Would suggest based on customer service and the fact that my belongings were not damaged.
Do not hire them.
I recently utilized them for a cross-state move. They are, of course, only brokers, but I have never seen such a disgusting fraud of a corporation in my life. The things vanished as soon as they were picked up. There were several issues with my goods from the moving company they chose at random to transfer my items. I phoned for 5 days in a row and each time they said "someone will call me back," but I never got a manager or any actual customer service. I was threatened with having my relocation rescheduled several times. This includes the day of. Dear, please, please DO NOT USE THEM IN ANY WAY. It was one of the most stressful transfers I'd ever made. Never, ever again.
Worst experience ever had.
I recommend that you avoid doing business with this firm. Yes, it is a risk. You never know who they'll hire as a subcontractor. They underbid you for the task, even though they tell you that everything is great! Keep your distance from them. I paid moreover $10,000, yet the service and whole experience were abysmal. Yes, you are debating whether or not to save $1,000 or more. Prior to obtaining your business, they go above and above. After that, you can't even find the folks that assisted you, let alone a phone number. Please do yourself a favor and avoid hiring them at all costs. You'll be grateful to me afterward!

Worst Experience Ever
This is a bad firm. Please follow my advice to avoid Brokers. They will not only under-estimate your relocation in order to win the bid, but you will also be accountable for all excess expenses, making it more expensive than going straight. My relocation from Wisconsin to Michigan was The Worst Experience Ever. It's incredible how nasty United specialists are, not only to their consumers but also to the third-party firms they recruit. I'm not sure how people can work there since this is a firm that exploits individuals. They promised an all-inclusive VIP experience. I paid for complete packaging, delivery, and everything else, but I received nothing. The business to whom they subcontracted was completely unaware of the situation. These folks had no idea they had to pack my belongings. If you conduct company research, believe me when I say that THIS IS NOT WORTHY. Avoid doing business with them by going straight. They'll be so lovely right away. You will have confidence in them since they will follow up with you and go above and above. You can't even phone them back after signing the contract since the number isn't regular. I pray you DON'T COME BACK!
Liars !!
Don't trust the glowing reviews on this site, which are clearly fabricated. (And they're all uploaded within a few days of each other.) They'll offer you a nice quotation simply to get you to sign on the dotted line. Customer service goes out the window once they have your money. They'll ignore your calls and keep you in the shadows about where your belongings are or when/if you'll ever receive them. This firm has cost many individuals thousands of dollars and priceless possessions. Please conserve your time, money, and stress. This business only collects your money in order to steal all of your belongings. You're effectively paying them to scam you.

Dreadful communication
I was meant to have movers arrive today, but I have yet to hear from them. Today is nearly over, and the truck has yet to arrive. I tried calling American Home Relocation, but there was no response; I left many voicemails and I still don't know when the movers will arrive today. They appear to be a shady firm. They've already received the deposit, and I can't get them to return my call.
Terrible experience
Horrible experience. This business is a joke, and it's should be out of service. I used them to transfer me from Michigan to Colorado. Long story short, my things had been kept hostage in a warehouse in Illinois for four weeks. They don't know when they were going to deliver. Finally, I got sick of all their bs, and I had to hire another moving company to pick up my stuff for me.
