Illegal behavior! Stay away!
With Alpha & Omega Moving Company, I experienced the worst move ever. When they came to collect up my belongings, a man gave me paperwork to sign. I signed the papers and gave it to him because it was already filled out with my information and the amount I agreed to pay. He returned the paperwork to me with his signature after they had loaded my belongings into the truck, and I realized that they had added more charges that I had not agreed to pay. This is against the law. When I arrived at the destination, practically all of my furniture had been smashed, the property had been damaged (walls, floors), and several of my boxes had gone missing.
Licenses & Certificates:
Companies that transport household goods within California like Alpha & Omega Moving and Storage have to register annually with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Bureau of Compliance is the responsible regulatory authority that manages intrastate movers. Movers should be registered with the FMCSA to operate interstate.
