Careful company
From the first phone call to the very last phone call, all states took care of my family and I and made sure that we understood what would happen during the move and what the price would be no matter what period there were no extra charges and nothing at the time of pick up or at the time of delivery that the drivers or helpers tried to do other than help my family and I get picked up and re located across country. Allstates, thank you very much!
Avoid this company
We had a bad experience with this company and strongly advise you to stay away from them at all costs. We were quoted over the phone for a move that took more than twice as long and cost more than twice as much. The company required money at each step of the process that had to be paid in cash to continue with the relocation (which we had to pay to get our goods back), and we've been trying to get a receipt for two months without success so I can request reimbursements but haven't gotten a response.
Effortless move
It was a very simple decision. We did a lot of work before we even got to the businesses. Have it narrowed down to three companies that we felt would be the perfect match for us, and in the end all the countries moving have won us over. Good pricing excellent customer service and a commitment to make the customer happy was their focus. It was easy to limit it down on the basis that we had to make it happen to transfer brokers, and we decided to deal only with the actual carrier. The advantage is that everything goes through one place at one phone number, any issue of any importance. Very helpful workers with the most experience I've ever heard of moving all played a part in making this a big success.
Affordable service
The thing I loved about all the states that moved the most was that they were willing to give me a blank inventory sheet to fill in on my own time, so I couldn't sit on the phone for hours telling each piece the first day. We've been going back-and-forth for a couple of weeks leading up to the transfer we've been exchanging phone calls and emails, and I've even gotten face down to the timing to show them some things. They are outstanding in the allocation of space for a truck and are more than happy to cut costs if it means taking on a new client. I know there's a lot of horror stories out there about moving businesses, so it's important to know exactly who you're dealing with. They also provided us with extra protection to protect our furniture in the event of an emergency. They did what was necessary, and we even got some extra boxes and TV covers free of charge. They were fordable and suited exactly what we had in mind.
Great Job
We didn't know, but moving is a lot more work than you expect even hiring a long-distance mover. The planning involved in this move was extensive. We looked room by room listing each item that was to be moved, as well as mentioning any object that needed special packing or capping. As well, they reached out to a third party car transport, so we were able to pick up their vehicles and move on the same day as our household. They are a company that puts the customer first and always finds a way to be cost-effective as well as professional and polite. Really recommended business at competitive rates is what everyone is searching for, and I would propose to everyone looking to make a call.
Terrible service, dishonest company
For a move from AZ to WA, I was quoted $6,000. Days before the move, quality assurance calculated that we were not quoted correctly and doubled the price. Everything was lined up with transportation, and we couldn't get back out of here. I was promised that I would get a refund for any space that was not used. The day the movers picked up said they couldn't fit it all in, and the price would double again to $24,000!! This move was meant to cover the house with three bedrooms. What had arrived at the destination scarcely filled the studio. There's no one answering the phone. The only way to talk to a real person is to ask for sales. After a month, I finally got a hold of customer support and was told that I would have to talk to the claims department. I filled out my claim form and submitted it, and five weeks later I still haven't heard of it. I have never received a number or any contact details from the claims department.
Last minute move
I just got a job in New York working at the hospital during the pandemic, and I had to move around on a short notice. All States was the company I found with the best reviews that was able to move me quickly. They had great pricing, and the rep Anthony was very helpful in making it easy to move around. The movers were awesome, and they took good care of my furniture. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to move with the best company out there. Thank you to All States for bringing me to my new home!
This company is a scam
Our things was picked up on June 28th, and now it's August 5th, and we haven't received our possessions yet, or had any updates where they are. We've been calling both Cesar and Anthony on an ongoing basis, but neither will provide a return phone call, text, or email. We had to have recourse to filling out a police report and filing a complaint with FMCSA. At this point, who knows if we're going to get our stuff. Our move has been from NJ to TX. It's been a nightmare that has already cost the company $4k to hire. I promise you, no matter what price you are quoted for, RUN FAR FAR AWAY! They are jackasses and should have revoked their license along with some kind of sanction.
