Simply lies
After they were two hours late, I sent them home. They didn't have someone who could "come to my residence for an estimate." 1300 was quoted to me. Increased to 1800. Then it's on to 2400. The lady manager who forgets her name is impolite. They were aware of my predicament and attempted to take advantage of it. I told them they needed to go home. I hope they're pleased with the $250 "deposit" they retained. Never, ever do business with this firm.
This was a nightmare situation of an experience.
Working with them was a dreadful nightmare. Everyone warned you about the relocation firm. They'll quote something, and then when they come to pick up at your location, they'll quote something completely ludicrous. Unfortunately, you're so packed and ready to leave that you don't have much of an option except to give in. Also, the customer service is abysmal—no one bothers to respond to upset customers.
Awful experience
Movers showed up around 8 p.m. and loaded until 3 a.m. (Original estimate of company arrival time was 1-3 p.m.) They were loud, and many of my neighbors were awake. Broke a lot of stuff. Plugged the toilet and left the garbage behind. Charged me with an accurate estimate of my weight, even though they never weighted a truck. The company staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful when I asked the question. Final price $3000 more than estimated. I don´t recommend it.
Honest company
Mr. Anthony did a good job of explaining the whole move process and did NOT make a promise like so many other co´s have contacted us. The final cost was close to his estimate. It went up a little because I had to add a few extra things on the day of the move. Al has a good experience in all of this.
Terrible experience
This wasn't what I expected of a professional moving company. I was told that my items would arrive in North Carolina by October 18th. I even took off work to make sure that someone was available to receive the items. I called the customer service line when I didn't hear anything, and I was told, oh no, your items weren't loaded yet. Like what in the hell.On the other side, the person stated that someone would call me back with updated information. It didn't happen. I called back a few times for my calls to go unanswered. Then, on October 20th, I called again to inquire about my delivery. The agent said she was going to call back with an update. When she called back, I was told that my stuff would be loaded tomorrow, October 21st, I said okay and hung up. Well, now it's the 23rd I've called to inquire again about the status of my items/delivery, and I've been informed that my items have not been loaded and that this won't happen until Friday, October 25. Honestly, this is the worst customer service I've ever been dealing with and the worst moving company I've ever been dealing with. Most lately, I had items coming from Abu Dhabi, located in the United Arab Emirates, and those items made it safely to my destination less than a 14-day timeframe, and this is from an overseas moving company. I can't believe that moving items from one state to another has been a huge problem. If I had known this would have been the result I would never have been with this company. This is the worst experience with moving items ever. To top this off, nobody from the customer service has called to keep me informed or up-to-date. Each and every time I've had to make a call. I wouldn´t recommend this company at all.

Joseph showed up on time and was well equipped with blankets to secure the furniture and took no time to get things moving. Everything went smoothly; Chris and his associates were very professional and very efficient. I would heartily recommend them to anybody who needs to make a move as easy as possible.
Wonderful mover
Wonderful service. Ordered the next day for the collection and delivery of white goods. Keep up to date with each step of the journey. Items delivered by two very polite men. Would definitely use it again. Couldn't have been better, and thanks a Ton for making it possible to move stress-free.
Good work
So effective to arrange the collection of my possessions on the day of collection, letting me know the exact times and exactly what was going on to help load and unload. Courteous and punctual staff; Smith helped me, and I want to thank him for his excellent service. I would definitely recommend this company to you.

Companies that transport household goods like Adam's Moving have to register annually with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Bureau of Compliance is the responsible regulatory authority that manages intrastate movers. Movers should be registered with the FMCSA to operate interstate.
