Absolutely Unacceptable - 5 Months and Still No Delivery
I am beyond frustrated with Green Pelican Movers. I hired them to move my belongings from Washington State to Anderson, Missouri, and it has now been over FIVE MONTHS, and I still don't have my belongings. This is completely unacceptable. From the start, the communication has been terrible. Every time I call, I get the runaround with vague promises that my items will be delivered "soon." I've been told repeatedly that my belongings are on their way, but nothing ever happens. It’s clear that they have no regard for their customers or their possessions. I understand delays can happen, but five months is outrageous. This move has been a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, steer clear of this company. Avoid Green Pelican at all costs. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and clearly do not care about their customers. I just want my belongings back.
Cross Country Move
This was quite easily the worst experience i have ever had with any company i have ever worked with. Everything you wish wouldnt happen with a move happened. 1. Missing items when household items arrived including power washer, weed eater and motorcyle floor jack, and fishing poles 2. During pickup someone in the company put our address on craigslist to enlist moving help. We had random men showing up to our house while my wife and child were home alone while i was at work. 3. Items where broken when dropped off including multiple pieces of furniture. A floor lamp, entry table, chunks out of our dressers and bedframe. 4. Everytime reached out we got false promises, lip service and agents telling us they would call us back and never did. 5. The drivers during pickup brought the wrong sized truck 2 days in a row. Pickup was delayed by 3 days causing us to havw to rebook hotels and airbnb for our trip across the country. 6. Movers kept saying they were not getting paid and one just randomely left during pickup. 7. They did not accurately make an inventory of our items to be picked up. Originally qouted us 8,000 for the move. 4 days before pickup they call back and re-inventory items and double the price. 8. Promised that the call would be reviewed and issue fixed. Nothing happened no one contacted us. Please just hire someone else. Moving across the country is stressful enough. We expected this company to make this process easier. They only increased our stress and anxiety. Turning the whole thing into a nightmare
