I was hesitant at 1st about using a moving service it really concerned me to trust someone with my belongings, but New City really impressed me with the way they handled everything and the level of professionalism displayed, I would surely using them on my next move.

But thanks to James, not only was he very professional when it came to explaining their services, but he went beyond and took the time to explain, in detail what to expect. I had heard horror stories about the moving industry. That was not my experience with New City Moving and Storage. James was very self aware what we needed, and how we felt. The move went just as he had explained it. The time line was also as promised. Thanks New City Moving. great job!

Timely, efficient and the fees were very reasonable

I don't normally write reviews but in this case I had to for New City Moving & especially Ken. I took multiple quotes from different companies but nothing was explained until I took the call from New City. After them explaining the process and what to expect I am pleased to say it went off without a hitch. I was able to make an educated decision on my mover because I now understood the process. Exactly what they said would happen is what happened. Everything arrived safe & sound. Thank you again Ken & everyone at New City for making my move stress-free.

Very professional, fast and effective

This was my first time ever moving and I was really apprehensive about the process, especially since it was a coast to coast move, (Florida to California). I did my due diligence and finally decided on you guys. From the moment of contact with John, it was a stress-free situation. I was very clear about what I expected and you guys fulfilled all my expectations. I appreciated the packing service since it was such a large move. Although a couple of glasses arrived chipped, I wouldn´t hesitate in recommending NEW CITY MOVING AND STORAGE to anyone who asks me.

I really want to thank you guys for making this process stress free. From the beginning, John McDonald was very clear about the pricing and delivery scenarios. I was thinking of using another company but after John´s explanation and clarity, I was aware that the quote wasn´t a final price. Upon pick up the team was very professional and went beyond what was stipulated. I´d give 5 stars if it weren´t for the delay in the delivery of a couple of hours. I am not one that typically write reviews, however, I told James I would if my move went half as good as he said to me. To my surprise, my move went incredibly smooth. All my items were picked at my property in Florida and delivered to New York in just 4 days time. The communication was very good James made sure to always call me back at even the late hours when I had questions or concerns. the crew was professional Dan was the foremen and this guy knew how to work he pushed the guys to Finnish everything fast and efficient.
