Despite the fact that they delivered my things late, I had a positive experience. I could not really complain because it was inexpensive in comparison to other firms. The customer service was excellent; they returned my phone calls and were prompt in resolving any issues. The drivers were extremely courteous, and all of my belongings arrived in fine shape, with the exception of a plastic bucket, which I didn't care for. Overall, it was a positive experience; I only wish they had sent my items sooner.

Considering a summer relocation? Never, ever fan. I called New City Moving and Storage LLC  on the advice of a friend and left everything in their hands. I didn't have a large job, but I did live in a two-story house. They arrived on time to finish the job.  were fast, efficient, and enjoyable to deal with. They understood exactly what they were doing, and they did it flawlessly. They never stopped going, didn't pause to converse, and didn't do anything else. I had such a positive experience that I felt compelled to write a review. Thank you very much! You did an excellent job.

Excellent company

The salesmen were courteous, not aggressive, and appeared to be respectable household men. The movers were really pleasant, arrived on time, and were extremely helpful with items that need special packing. Did an excellent job of preparing the floors before moving objects to avoid scratching them. Moving costs were $300 less than estimated. If I had to move again, I would use New City Moving and Storage again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Smoothly move

With this company, I had a really smooth and great experience. Although with the holidays in between, they have been quite helpful with the dates I asked for my move. Everything went smoothly. I did have one nearly new box, but I am currently going through the claims procedure, and missing a bad feeling during that process, it was an overall fantastic transfer.

They were timely, courteous, and efficient, and they handled our furniture with care. I can't say enough good things about this firm. I was extremely happy with the relocation services provided by New City Moving and Storage Company to my family last week. They were quite competent in their packing and unloading. I was astonished by how swiftly they packed and loaded large coaches into their moving truck. The crew was really kind and helpful, and they made certain that nothing was destroyed or damaged throughout the relocation.

When it comes to resolving claims for broken or damaged furniture, the New City Moving and Storage firm is extremely competent. My costly handmade dining table's leg was inadvertently damaged in my previous relocation with them two months ago. When I filed a claim and followed the method they gave me, I was impressed by how quickly they processed the claim. Unlike all other firms I've worked with in the past, New City kept in regular contact with me, and my complete refund arrived sooner than I expected!

Finest moving experience I've ever been

My large and complex furniture was no issue for the crew to assemble. I've moved several times, and it's uncommon that the cost is the same as what you're told over the phone...but that's exactly what happened this time! Even at 9:30 p.m., the folks who answered the phone always returned my calls. Easily the finest moving experience I've ever experienced.

My husband chose New City as our movers when we relocated from North Carolina to Georgia. We offered an approximate estimate of what we were relocating and how many boxes, etc., we would require over the phone. (They also packed us.) They offered us a binding price, and we paid our deposit. We had an 8-day moving deadline, so we couldn't back out without losing our $1,000.00 deposit. So we were all set. I then came online and read a lot of reviews about them. Some were terrifying, and I was terrified. They said stuff like they wanted more money, broke things, stolen things, didn't deliver on time, and so on. I was frightened. I inquired of my fiancé as to what he had gotten us into. The packers and movers arrived on the day we requested. They sent three people with heavy accents, but communication was never an issue. They were really courteous of us and our property, as well as diligent about their work. When they were almost done packing and loading, it was time to receive the service.We were told we owed around $2,000 more than we had expected. I blew my fuse and wanted to know why, and they had to be mistaken. The man explained softly how he arrived at his figure. I then counted the boxes myself and found that he was correct. I had overestimated our resources. So, certainly, they want more money, but it was a valid request. These people are fantastic. I am grateful for their efforts and warmly encourage them. I suppose people who are dissatisfied are those searching for free services or anything. Bottom line: Don't be put off by what you've read. These folks are modest and provide a reliable service. Allow them a chance. You will not be unhappy!!
