Disappointed

Do not work with this company! I hired them for a simple relocation, and they did an awful job, causing damage to the walls and furnishings. They charged me for four hours even though they only worked three, and despite the fact that my claim was accepted, I have yet to be reimbursed for the damages. They keep telling that the money is being processed by the billing department... I'm really disappointed with Master Movers.

I should have researched more!

People, don't do it.  I'm still struggling to recover from the disaster of my move on September 6. I want to cry every time I open a box that they packed. They're not packing, they're dumping. In a particular order, I had my vinyl record collection (50 years) packed in milk crates. They literally dropped the records in two huge high boxes (wardrobe boxes) That weighs so much that I can't move them and I can't get into the packages. The records are spread helter skelter. Each box they packed is just the same. Items   damaged, SS fridge door handles scratched. If the box or tote I packed was labeled KITCHEN, it ended up in the bedrooms, and vice versa, but most of my packages and totes were thrown into the garage to the point where we had to take it all out of the garage. They use their tape to cover it to the point of being absurd, so you have to pay for more packaging material. There are lost objects, and stuff that were supposed to be on the trucks have been left behind. I figured out that two days after the transfer, I went back to clean the house. When I arrived, every light, including the exterior lights, was turned on and every door was unlocked. They informed you that they are "the experts, they know what they're doing" Not the facts. Last recommendation: don't recruit a mover who doesn't come to your house first and see what you've got. I ended up paying more than 3 times the phone quote just to have my things mistreated, broken or damaged. If they know you're going to have to move every day, they're going to take you to the cleaners because they know they've got you. These people have no corporate ethics at all. They're baiting you with a low ball quote, you accept, put down your deposit, and the disaster begins.

Great Movers

My wife and I established out to start the year by renewing our energies, with the desire to begin a new home in a more comfortable area where we could raise a family. We didn't think this change was going to happen so soon and, honestly, it wouldn't have been possible without the important help of MasterMovers, since we had a good chance to rent and in less than 5 days we were ready to make the move, the team behind MasterMovers was incredible at the time of the first contact, bringing one of the best rates on the market and outstanding customer service.

Terrible move

Both employees were sluggish, and the man who was the leader of the team (David) had injured his back days before, and could only move small objects. He  wouldn't take plastic bags, and I had to call the manager. David said it was company policy. Business policy was not addressed in my quotation, nor were the extra charges for covering your items. My little night stands and the final tables had been turned upside down and all the containers had fallen into the other storage boxes. When the movers reached their destination, they were so slow that my brother and brother in law helped to unload the truck. I wouldn't hire them again.

Impressed with the service

I contacted Master Movers for help when my landlord asked me to leave my apartment on December 24th. The next day, when they were supposed to be there, they were nocking at my house. The crew did it all at lightning speed. I've been really impressed. The cost they charge for the service was very nice if you know that all this occurred on Christmas morning.

Great movers

I had a wonderful moving experience working side-by-side with a crew of professional movers. I used their service only after new years eve. They showed up on time and did it as fast as they could. I was in my new apartment in just two hours. Thank you so much, Master Movers.
