Thieves!

In short they stole my money! They quoted me $780 for 3 hrs. The appointment was at 4 PM we finished before 7:44 PM. The had me sign a bunch of paperwork before we started. All lines were blank, they filled them out later when we were moving stuff. They wrote “start at 3 PM, finish at 9 something PM” and gave me a copy that I put in my pocket right away (because we were busy moving stuff and didn't think anything of it). There was nothing to sign at the end of moving. I left a few minutes after we finished. I saw their vehicle leave their parking spot and made a turn. I checked my credit card a few days later, I charged me over $1400! I called them they said it took 6 hrs to complete the job. I said no it was from 4 to 7:44. Then they looked into it, they confirmed that the appointment was at 4 PM, but their vehicle left at 8:11 PM (they had a tracker in the vehicle). So, Danny refunded me about $198 after taking out a bunch of additional fees. According to their tracker they actually stayed (in the area?) until 8:11 and charged me according to their tracker, which is 4 hrs and a half (they charge an increment of half an hr after the first 3 hrs) . Thank God they didn't decide to stay until midnight or morning! They charged me half an hour extra, that's almost $100. Writing reviews is a waste of time, the time that I don't really have, but I just got robbed so I have to share my experience with Flat Fee Moving.

Grateful with my move

I'd like to share my moving experience with Flat Fee Moving in Elmwood Park NJ. I knew I was dealing with the right company the moment I spoke with Lizzie; she responded all of my questions in a very professional manner that made me feel very relaxed, and we have scheduled an in-home estimate for my relocation. Their estimator came to my house and went over all of the important information with me, making a detailed list and explaining every part of the move. They gave me a great and accurate price, which was higher than some, but after looking at their Facebook page and seeing online videos from actual customers, I decided to trust them. It was the correct decision; the price was reasonable, all of my items were in great condition, and the team was courteous and professional. I received all of my items in excellent condition, exactly as they were shipped. Anyone can post a review on the internet and say whatever they want (good or bad) I based on their videos and my intuition, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to all at Flat Fee Moving. I would undoubtedly recommend and refer you to others.

Thieves

Consumers should be aware that this is the most unprofessional company you will ever come across. Once they have your things in the truck and you are gone, they will charge you for everything, including parking tickets, petrol, and tolls. extra blankets of all kinds, you will be in for a lot of extras the business is run by a bunch of Arab thieves trying to get rich fast.

Local move NJ

On July 10, 2018, we relocated from a one-bedroom apartment in Jersey City. It was a good experience from the start. Lizzie immediately returned all of our calls and answered all of our questions. On the day of the move, a crew of three arrived and were very professional and respectful. The final costs were only a half-hour higher than the initial quote, but that was fair because the apartment building where we were going took longer to provide information about the unloading dock. It came as no surprise to me because they had mentioned the price in their initial quote. We had a stress-free move thanks to this company, and we will use them again for our next move.

Best experience

This was a big move for me, and I was anxious about it. I was placing a lot of things in storage, including irreplaceable, incredibly fragile furniture made by my father. Not only was the team extremely cautious with packing, carrying, piling, and so on, but they were also pleasant and completed the task rapidly. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. Everyone in the office was fantastic, and the price was excellent. They were truthful, their estimation was accurate, and I went from nervous to totally at ease because I knew I was in good hands. You can't put a price on anything like that. Thank you so much, Flat Rate! The best decision I've ever made. I will highly recommend it to everyone.

Liars

After seeing all those good reviews, I contacted them to give them a chance - well, it wasn't perfect like those reviews - one of the movers didn't speak English at all and it was very difficult to interact with him - the other mover was very sweet and friendly but was not professional on the scene, I will not use them again, this is not the best move I have ever made.
