I had an absolutely dreadful experience with this moving service. Not only were there significant delays, but several of my pieces of furniture ended up mysteriously lost in transit. The sales manager, Nick Allan, was the epitome of unprofessionalism. He made grand promises and then vanished into thin air, leaving me completely in the dark without a single update. I feel utterly betrayed by his actions and would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this incompetent company.

After initial payment he stopped answering the phone. Customer service is closed Friday to Sunday Day 5 of not having any furniture. They are a 3rd party contractor that uses INSTAMOVER. Scam

They’re the world greatest liars. I called to book a long distance move from Texas to Georgia, gave them a list of 86 items. I was given a price of $22xx, They lied and told me that the movers would disassemble on pickup and reassemble on delivery. The day the movers came the price doubled. I was told it would be a 2 day turnaround for delivery, my items were picked up on Thursday they made it to Georgia that Sunday then I was informed that if a 18 wheeler truck couldn’t get down my street that I would have to pay for my things to be transferred to a box truck. So I had to go meet the movers with a truck and get my items. Things were broken and my headboard is missing. Supposedly they provide insurance for stuff like this but of course I have yet to hear back from anyone. They’re so nice and professional until they get your deposit then they’re true colors are seen but at this point it’s too late because they have your money.

SCAMMERS, DO NOT HIRE

Worst experience of my life. Nonstop stress and anxiety and I am out almost 3x the original quote. They will hire a subpar moving company to actually move your things. The company they hired for us has 1 star on google reviews. I was lied to from the first conversation with Eagle. They give a completely inaccurate quote to get you to sign a contract and then the movers will double the cost once they get there. (I was even charged almost $400 for 2 moving boxes that the movers asked me to use). I was quoted $2100 and I am now over $5000 in deep with these people and they STILL havent dropped my stuff off which is going to be (at least) another $2000 + whatever else they decide to charge extra for. They lied about where they were storing my items. Imagine finding out that all of your possessions are in a completely different state than you are moving! They guarantee fast delivery but I have been waiting weeks for my things to arrive incurring an unbelievable amount of costs for airbnb stays and rent on an apartment I can't live in without any furniture. I moved on 2/3 and it is mid March and I still do not have my items. Who knows if my items are even in the state! They do not answer the phone and if they do they say they "left a message with dispatch and will call you back in 15" but they will never call back. You will never get answers with this company. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL. At this point, I am genuinely concerned that I have been fully scammed and will never see all of my belongings. Lack of communication, RUDE STAFF, they will extort you into paying unbelievable amounts of money above the "estimate". Don't hire this company. Please don't. It will be the biggest mistake you ever make. For reference, I moved from east to west coast 4 years ago for around $4800 including packing and received my things within 2 weeks (during the covid lockdown in May 2020 mind you). I hired Eagle to move me only a couple states away (a 15 hour drive) and I will be around $7000 by the time this is done (if my items ever show) and I am now 7 weeks from pickup and still haven't heard a peep about drop off. STAY AWAY.

I am so sorry i didn't see the reviews before hiring this horrific company. I hired them not realizing they were just moving brokers. That was never disclosed. I had never hired a mover to move from state to state. Boy did i learn my lesson. I should have cancelled them and lost my deposit. That would have been less that what I actually lost. The damaged stuff that cant be repaired as well as broke family heirlooms and lost the most important piece of furniture. It was my grandmothers from the early 1900s. These items are not replaceable. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! They don't care as I called multiple times.

This is a long review, so if you want the gist... When you call around, companies will say to be careful. Moving companies will promise the world and under deliver - This company does EXACTLY THAT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, DO NOT USE THEM ITS NOT WORTH IT. On October 9, 2023 we got in contact with Eagle Moving to facilitate our move from California to Texas. We spoke with Nick G, he consulted with us on what our needs were, what was moving in our house, the distance of the move, etc. We spoke with other moving companies and found out that for a move this large, most companies will fill a moving truck then unload, reload and then transport to the final destination. Lie #1 - He assured us that Eagle Moving does not do that and our shipment would go straight to Texas. - When the movers showed up on January 10, 2024, they told us the truck would arrive in Las Vegas, they would unload and reload into a new truck. Lie #2 - He told us we would be getting 6 movers the initial day and atleast 5-6 arrival day. The day they showed up we had 3 movers. The delivery day we only had 2 delivery drivers. Lie #3 - He told us we could leave light items in the dressers. The movers told us to take EVERYTHING out of the drawers, this isnt a big deal. However, the movers took apart some of our furniture and we are still missing shelves, our bed frame was damaged. Lie #4 - Nov 20, we told him we would be taking solar panels & batteries and asked if this would be an issue, he said no problem - We were charged an additional $1,000 for him saying it would be no issue and no problem. Lie #5 - During the consultation and over the entire 3 months we discussed with Nick how we had wine that needed to be moved. He NEVER told us that THE MOVERS DONT MOVE LIQUIDS... We told him how many cases of wine would be moved and how many wine fridges. This became a major issue on our LAST DAY in the house. Our items arrived damaged, some items missing, we received extra charges even though we discussed everything with Nick PRIOR. 2 business days prior to our move Nick VANISHED. No responses. He promised during our move he would be our contact and readily available. When I called the company to complain and get help, I was assisted by Jaime &Caelum. Caelum was EXTREMELY condescending. We had movers at our house and it was our last day in the house and as I was explaining everything and asking for someone to call us back for assistance, he condescendingly said "we appreciate all feedback and I'll make sure to pass this message along". His tone alone suggested that he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. We were told multiple times that we would get a call back and NEVER received a call. This company got our stuff moved but are the definition of promising the world and delivering our stuff damaged & making sure to get extra money out of you. A move half way across the country is hard enough, its sad that a company like this couldn't possibly care any less about their customers.

Moving Broker with Poor Service

Your deposit is basically a broker's fee so once they have your money they will not answer calls or emails. Very questionable business practices. Also, insist on an in person inventory and not the virtual review. They will quote the square footage very low. Whatever they quote as the square footage, you need to double it and then ask for the price. That will give you an idea of how much they will try to increase the price once they have your belongings on their truck. Also the local company they sent had movers who were playing loud, vulgar rap music from their car in my driveway. My wife had to leave the house because she was uncomfortable with the workers. I spoke with the foreman who had the employee turn off the music. When I called Eagle and told them that we did not feel safe with the local movers, the customer service supervisor said there was nothing she could do and basically we had to deal with it. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she said there was no one else and she was the highest level employee.

Professional services

Highly recommended Eagle moving group is the best of all moving group. Eagle Moving Group was highly professional and arrived completely prepared. We were short on moving boxes, but they offered them for free. We also had very big furniture that had to go into very tiny hallways, but the movers took additional care of our belongings to ensure they arrived undamaged. They provided a highly competent and cost-effective service, and they completed all tasks on schedule. Especially because we were being charged by the hour. I would absolutely suggest them to anyone searching for a residential moving company
